DONATION AT KINGHARMAN ROAD GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL

The Rotaract Club of Mount Aureol In partnership with the Rotary Club of Freetown-Sunset and with support from the Rotary Club of Passports, Ontario Canada has today 3rd May 2023 donated Medical Items to the King Harman Road Hospital.

The donation included a range of medical supplies including hospital beddings, sanitizers, face masks, theatre equipment, and other essential items.
These items will go a long way in supporting the hospital’s efforts to provide quality healthcare services to the people of Freetown.

The King Harman Road Hospital is a critical facility in the city, providing medical care to thousands of patients from Aberdeen, Wilberforce, Brookfields, etc. every year. The hospital is always in need of medical supplies to ensure that it can continue to meet the needs of the community. The Rotaract Club of Mount Aureol’s donation is therefore a significant contribution towards the hospital’s mission.

Speaking about the donation, the President of the Rotaract Club of Mount Aureol ING Adolphus Samuels said

We are delighted to be able to support the King Harman Road Hospital in this way with support from Rotary. The donation was received by Representatives of the Medical Superintendent and the Matron of the facility, who expressed gratitude to the Rotaract Club of Mount Aureol for their generosity.

We are very grateful to the Rotaract Club of Mount Aureol for this donation. The medical supplies will be put to good use in the hospital, and they will help us to provide better care to our patients,” Nurse Bintu.
